Until now I thought the various articles I’d read concerning Binance and Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) might be a storm in a teacup and eventually blow over, however this morning an email arrived in my mailbox:
We wanted to let you know that GBP Bank Deposits (via Faster Payments) and GBP Bank Card Deposits have been temporarily paused.
GBP Bank Withdrawals (via Faster Payments) are still available for users to cash out. In the meantime, you can still buy cryptocurrencies with GBP via Credit/Debit cards on Binance.com
Having just started my crypto journey through Binance how very frustrating although I guess the counter argument would be it might provide be better long term protection in the future.
Question on my mind now, should I look for an alternative way to trade or is Binance the first of many?
Incidentally, if you like my thumbnail image, Caffe Castel Sant’Angelo do the most amazing refreshments with an awesome view of Rome, I’m not in any way related to them or receive any financial reward from them, I just enjoy good coffee in great locations.
