Sports Betting Blockchain Projects | March 2020 Report

There are many Sports Betting Blockchain projects in development. I'm trying to stay up to date and make a roundup of the listings, price action and news updates on a monthly basis.

Market Overview

Pretty much none of professional sports leagues in the world are active right now because of the Corona Situation which certainly has an effect on some of the sports Betting focussed Blockchain projects. The crypto markets also had a major drop followed by a rebound. All Sports Betting projects continue to lose ground with the average drop in price of 34%! While from the start it has been clear that few would manage to survive the long run, right now it feels like the question is if any of them will survive? Right now, only the platforms with esports action are still

I stay shocked at how this project can only have a ~50k market cap as they have a working platform with good odds. They certainly have their issues because they run on Ethereum and so far they don't seem to have made up their mind yet how to proceed possibly moving to another platform. There was a news update where they launched e-sports betting which currently is the only sport running in the world. They also claim to "plan to improve the offering in the future with streamed coverage of events and improvements to the visual interface but wanted to get this live for you now.. Their Telegram Channels seems to be full of spam bots the last couple of days and it's hard right now to really have much confidence in the team.

Esports bets can currently be taken with EOS, ETH or BETR on Betr.bet

Things keep getting worse for Scorum & Scorumbet. With few sports to talk and write about, activity continued to drop on the blogging platform and from what it looks like right now, the DPOS doesn't have 20 witnesses anymore which pretty much broke their blockchain making it impossible to do anything whatsoever. It will be interesting to see how the devs react as they claim in their telegram that they are working on it. It's just a shame to see how this project has gone to complete waste.

I've been having some fun on Wink.org last week playing some poker and making some calculations on the Dividends along with the token inflation rate.

I covered Exbet.io last week (See Post) and I'm looking forward to seeing if they can achieve what they set out to do which is becoming the Betfair of BTC. I will certainly keep a close eye on this project.

I continue being invested in Sportbet.one which had an understandable price decline with very little action going on right now. They do offer Esports Betting which still provided 0.208% Dividends last week. I will very likely buy some more if the price continues to drop right before more sports become active again.

Degens.com is also offering esports and still does around 50k of turnover volume in a week.

Wagerr.com also continues to move forward and added esports to their betting platform. All their offers can be found on their explorer website. They also are working on offering parlays.
