The Sorare.com NFT Fantasy Football Game offers a Free2Play competition for the 2022 World Cup where real prizes can be won. This is my strategy and the team that I submitted...

There are still 2+ days left before the start of the World Cup and to enter your team. Every player gets 100 points to use on players having to choose 2 Strikers, 2 Midfielders, 2 Defenders, 2 Goalkeepers.

My Strategy

I pretty much only follow the Belgian Football League not knowing much about other leagues let alone internationals. The way I went about selecting my players was to take the teams with the most chance to get deep into the tournament taking the more expensive players from those teams while taking the cheapest reserve players. I also checked to Scored players had in Sorare in their most recent matches taking those that are in good form.

My Team

Brazil, Portugal, Netherlands, Germany, England are the teams that I picked my main starting players from.

Main Striker: Neymar (23 Points)
Brazil are the favorite and Neymar is their star player generally scoring very well in the matches he plays.

Main Midfielers: Frenkie De Jong (15 Points) / Bruno Fernandez (15 Points)
The Netherlands should be quite good with Van Gaal and I'm expecting a lot from them.

Portugal is also said to be a team with a lot of quality

Main Defender: John Stones (16 Points)

Main Goalkeeper: Manual Neuer (13 Points)

Bench Players which I chose rather randomly often picking players that play in the Belgian league or used to play there Striker: Ueda (6 Points) Defender: Preciado (6 Points) Goalkeeper: Jo Hyeon-Whoo (6 Points)

I did put Neymar as the captain of my team.

Conclusion

I'm highly looking forward to the World Cup and being part of the Sorare Fantasy League aside from betting for sure will give an extra dimension to it.
