I am getting more serious about playing the Sorare.com NFT Fantasy Football Game this new football season and will be keeping track of my personal activity in this series of posts.

Building Player Experience

I never expected last week to be a good one as some of the bigger teams had no match in the Belgian League. Instead, most of my focus was to field as many players as possible to gain some Experience in order to get the Bonsu % back up after it dropped last week because of the new season cards releasing. I also entered in the mid-week competition even though I didn't have enough players for it that actually had matches or started. I also started playing the common tournament which brings in 1 extra common card in the hope it will be a goalkeeper so I can enter more teams there helping to level up my players.

Reasons To Free2Play Common Leagues

It is possible to play Sorare totally for free and I can highly suggest for anyone who is interested in the game but not yet willing to throw some money at it. You will get some free Common cards that can't be sold to get started on your journey and each week that you enter you will be able to earn an extra common card (or a limited card if you rank crazy high which is unlikely). The reason I regret not submitting free teams each week since I started last season is that these cards can help to fill training teams that level up limited cards. You can add an unlimited amount of training teams based on the cards that you own.

From here on out, I will always enter these hoping to pick up another goalkeeper.

Game Week 296 Review

I didn't get to field all of my main players with Koita surprisingly starting on the bench while Gueye who the previous week started on the bench now was in the team and scored. Gueye wasn't even in the squad as he likely wants a transfer. So overall I'm still nowhere in actually being competitive but I'm doing what I can to improve without throwing a crazy amount of money on it.

New Player Purchases

I did buy a new copy of Vadis Odidja very cheaply which I expect to be in the team getting excellent scores very soon. I will replace this card with my main copy which dropped to 3.5% bonus and try to sell my other copies later on.

Season 2022-2023 Week 6 Line-Up

The main choices I have to make is to already put Odidja in the team at the cost of Nainggolan as I do expect a better score from Odidja if he plays which remains a big question. As striker I had to make a choice between Gueye and Koita. I went for the first since he started and scored last week even though a new striker in Avenatti was acquired by Kortrijk who might take his place. Koita started on the bench last week and might again come in later in the match. I am also putting Debast in the teeam as extra since he's quite sure to play for Anderlecht.

I did play Odidja in my backup team mainly aimed to level up players without a real chance to do well.

Conclusion

I'm looking forward to this game week and the time hopefully in the future where I will actually be fighting for prizes regularly without needing to get crazy lucky.
