Sorare.com 2023-2024 | 60$+ Week 1 Prize Money!

I have highly been enjoying Sorare.com and now also incuded Rare cards for this 2nd Season that I'm playing. Each Wednesday I'm making an update post on what's going on in the ecosystem and how I'm doing personally.

I started the new season with a bang instantly reaching the 250 Threshold in both my Rare and Common Cap 240 League teams also winning an extra common card which all combined was worth more than 60$!

Rare Cap 240 Team

So the goalkeeper (Warleson) I speculated on turns out the be the #1 for Cercle Brugge and my striker (Koita) now is a starter for Stvv in a formation and style that suits him much better under their new coach. My Defender Watanabe. All this combined with a couple of good trades and already earning 50$ from the cap240 league makes it so that I very cheaply managed to get my rare team and I'm quite pleased with that.

I was lucky in that the algorythm gave a high score for Ashimeru who didn't really play a good match, on the other hand, Maertens started on the bench for OHL due to not 100% fit yet while he usually is the first player on the sheet. It was a very exciting week as I needed 54 points on Koita in the last match of the week and in minute 85' he scored an insane distance shot goal to get him well over that.

No Changes this week with the exact same line-up which should have a shot to reach the 250 threshold with some luck.

Limited Teams & Results

I did buy and sell a couple of Limited cards this week and managed to finish 440th in the Cap240 Limited League. Instead of keeping stats on all leagues that I enter, I will just make a table of tournaments where I finish in the money spots.

Player Transfers & Reward Card

As my budget is increasing since I'm doing well in Sorare, I was able to buy some more players that I hope will have their use going forward. I'm still lacking strikers that are consistent which made me pick up Vincent Janssen for quite an expensive 23.49€ price but I'm sure that I will be able to use him a lot and the core bonus % was at +10% so he'll still be good after the -5% cut that is about to come. I also bought Kadri from Kortrijk who is one of the better players in the league in terms of performance and potential also because he's still young. 8.51e was a real steal. Limited goalkeepers back when I started went for 100€+ and I still could use some more starters in order to compete in more leagues. So I picked up Vandenberghe from Kortrijk who is #1 with no real competition right now. I also earned Franjic from Wolfsburg who was worth around 5$. He's also useful for my U 23 team and for now I will be keeping him. I did sell an old copy of Makhtar Gueye who is normally going to RWDM for just 2.75€ after buying him a year ago for much more 8.44€. He still books as a profit this season since at the start he was just worth 0.73€. I do plan to thin out my card collection some more but it's a real hassle to try and sell all those low value cards.

Conclusion

I could not have asked for a better start of the season in Sorare and I'm highly looking forward to the weeks to come as for sure this game will bring a lot more excitement.
