I continue to closely follow both the Wink.org & Sportbet.one platforms and am bringing weekly updates on the news and the Returns they are providing...
I really enjoy making these weekly reports as they certainly help to identify times to take profit (See WIN Taking Profit) and times when to possibly add some more which is what I have been hinting at these last couple of weeks when it came down to SBET. I ended up more than doubling my holdings recently now having a long-term bag of 1M SBET to hold on to and 100k extra to possibly take some profit on when the time is due. This now officially puts me out of the FOMO zone where I would have regretted not buying more in case there is a price increase.
Reasons I Bought More SBET
For me, it all comes down to the product and its potential compared to the actual market cap of the coin. Sitting around 1.3 Million in these last couple of weeks, it felt like a steal knowing their sportbet.one bookie is a product that I actually like and use at times. The dividends have also been ranging around +0.8% & +1% weekly returns based on the SBET price and the development continues to move forward.
I already made an article 8 months ago when I first started accumulating SBET (See Reasons I'm buying SBET (sportbet.one) and pretty much everything I wrote back then still applies today.
Getting more users right now is the main challenge the platform is facing since they have been somewhat stuck between 90 and 130 individuals taking at least 1 bet on their bookie on a weekly basis. This means they have a long way to go toward adoption and this project certainly isn't without risk as a possible investment. To anyone who is interested, I would say do your own research actually testing out creating an account on sportbet.one or an EOS account that can be used directly without the need to sign up seeing how it all works 1st hand without actually gambling your money away (small bets can easily be placed and transactions are fee).
SBET currently can be swapped on v3.defis.network and staked from any EOS wallet which will allow to claim Dividends each Monday.
SBET Dividends
The Dividends were really solid last week coming down to +1% based on the current price. It is possible to estimate how good the dividends will be during the week as it is shown how many are collected already. This along with following how many people are betting allows to better time the market. If tomorrow, some of the bigger players stop gambling it is likely for the dividends to disappoint and the price to drop accordingly, same goes when more people start using the platform and the expected dividends look to increase like it was the case these past weeks.
Of course, there are no guarantees, but things look quite favorable for SBET at the moment even though I would really like to see the number of users go up these next couple of months to at least get some kind of confirmation there. Right now I will just continue to hodl and possibly take a bit of profit when the signs are there.
Wink.org Dividends
I wrote multiple times how potential growth never really was calculated into the price of these gambling dapps as it most of the time get formed just based on the dividends that are being paid out. This generally ranges around 0.7% weekly. WIN seems to has decoupled from this or it is currently overpriced meaning some more profit taking is due as it only sits around +0.33% based on the 100-day moving average in dividends compared to the current price. 1 Million WIN currently goes for around 212$ while it only gives expected returns of around +0.7$ weekly. I already took a bit of profit some weeks back and am not in a rush to sell more being in it for the long run. If anything, I might buy back what I sold in case there is a price correction.
My personal gambling dapp portfolio got a boost with the extra SBET and is now up to 23M WIN / 1.1M SBET / 10k TRX / 2271 RAKE. The goal remains to get these weekly earnings at least around 50$ (It is quite addictive to add more). I'm also still interested in adding another gambling dapp that pays the losses from the gambler to those holding a token that can't be mined but haven't found another good one just yet.
