I am getting more serious about playing the Sorare.com NFT Fantasy Football Game this new football season and will be keeping track of my personal activity in this series of posts.
Buying Yaremchuk
The main event in my Sorare adventure this week is that I managed to pick up a limited card of Roman Yaremchuk right at the time when news broke that he would be transferred to Club Brugge for 15 Million. He was a bench player for Benfica which was reflected in his price on Sorare at the time going for a price range between 55€ and 60€ while other Club Brugge Striker Jutgla he will play alongside off costs 500€
I didn't hesitate to buy him at that time knowing I needed a reliable striker for my team. Shortly after, the prices went up quite a bit to now going between 90€ and 100€
I did learn from past mistakes and went for a slightly more expensive version at a higher level which gives +9.5% bonus. Being on top of your league knowing what is going on for sure helps to identify these spots and act fast. I was considering picking up a 2nd copy just as a short-term trade but my confidence and knowledge of how these things play out is not yet big enough.
Game Week 300 Review
It remains a major challenge to have a week where all players start and play most of the match also putting up a good performance let alone an excellent performance. All of them were average to underwhelming last week and my backup team was even worse
New Player Purchases
1 New Player this week in Yaremchuk who is 26, will most likely be a starting Striker for Club Brugge which is the team to beat in Belgium and who also plays Champions League while he is an international
Season 2021-2022 Mid-Week & Week 7 Line-Up
2 Belgian Teams play during this mid-week but I don't have a goalkeeper that starts so the entry will be more just to level cards more. I also didn't have a starting striker form the teams so I had to put in Lemajic who likely will start on the bench.
My main team should have gotten a lot stronger & more consistent now with 4 players from the top teams in the league who should start and play most of the match and a goalkeeper that has consistently taken good points.
My Backup team still mostly is there to level Up players.
I also managed to enter in some other leagues with spare players and again in the common casual league which will give me an extra common card.
Conclusion
I'm still having fun with Sorare and am back to overall break even in case I would sell all my players. Hopefully in the future, I will actually be fighting for prizes regularly without needing to get crazy lucky.
