Gambling Dapp Dividends Report | More Sportbet.one Adoption!

I am keeping close track of my Gambling Dapp Portfolio which now only includes BFG (Betfury.io) & SBET (Sportbet.one) with regular updates on how exactly they are doing showing what can be expected for those interested...

I have been making these updates weekly on my hive blog (https://hive.blog/@costanza) and will continue to do so going forward. This was another week that provided some solid dividends above 300$ and what seems to be some nice adoption of the Sportbet.one bookmaker.

Sportbet.one (SBET)

For sure the fact that there is a lot of sports right now has something to do with it, but it's still nice to see the numbers generally going up for the platform and the SBET token. In particular what I have been waiting for a long time was the total number of active users that placed at least 1 bet on the platform. Last week this reached an all-time high of 248 users. That on it's own is not that spectacular and if anything still shows the growth potential.

If this increases a bit more it would be great but I would already be happy in a way if this became the new standard. The fact is that the product they offer to sports bettors that want to bet with crypto without any KYC or deposit requirements is one of the better around also for those that don't want to have anything to do with the blockchain part of things as a login with your social media and deposit with a credit card is perfectly possible.

The price more or less remains linked to the dividends that are provided and there is less of a speculative bubble factor to it. Last week, the returns based on the current price were just over 50% but it also needs to be said that it's impossible to buy a lot without quickly pushing the price up unless someone else is dumping. Only 3.37 Million SBET currently is avaialble in the liquidity pool but as they are going to be listed on a centralized exchange with 100 Million extra SBET being put in circulation it should become easier.

That being said, SBET continues to be a nice money-maker each week with much but the risks of regulation issues or at some point a really bad run for the bookmaker becoming an issue is not excluded. I still very much like the risk-reward and might even add some more in case there is another dip in the price.

Betfury.io (BFG)

In the complete opposite fashion the Sportbet, Betfury continues to be in a constant slow but stready downtrend with no real end in sight. The mining model always gives the most incentives to mine at the start but as it becomes harder while the rewards go down, there is less incentive for the gamble-to-mine players to play creating a downward spiral which is hard to escape. It is a product good enough for just regular use with some benefits but it remains difficult.

One of the good things is that the dividends that are earned each week soften the pain a lot and since I started cost-averaging BFG, I already managed to collect over 7000$ in dividends. So in that regard it's not all that bad and I can see a time when both the price and the dividends will go up again. A new crypto bull run will be needed for that though.

Personal Gambling Dapp Portfolio

I didn't buy anything extra this week still holding 7.4 Million SBET & 550k BFG which generated a total of 342.25$ over the course of the week. I'm mostly looking now to the diversify with another good gambling dapps that pay the losses or fees from the gambler to those holding a token. Anyone that has tips on this, please leave a comment below...
