Isolation is dangerous territory for an addict. Being a recovering addict in 2020 has proven to be an uphill challenge never faced before. Although no particular solution has a monopoly on recovery from addiction, addicts seeking help in 12 Step fellowships has been extremely taxing on many. Meetings are an integral part of the process. With many meetings canceled, isolation has more than enough room to breed destructive thinking and behavior.
