There's lots of different passive earning opportunities out there these days, many promising different things. Misconceptions abound when it comes to "passive earnings" hopefully I can help you with some of them.

MISCONCEPTION 1: GET RICH QUICK.

   Lets just face it, if your hoping there is some passive income idea out there that is going to get you rich quick you are going to be sorely dissatisfied. If that was true then everyone out there would be doing some type of passive income thing and getting loaded. Now granted there are people out there that seem like they break that rule... But are they really making passive income in those cases? Which leads to...

MISCONCEPTION 2: PASSIVE INCOME BEING PASSIVE 

   Unfortunately like my dad always said "You can't get something for nothing" well that might not always be true, sometimes you can win things ( and it does happen I promise 🤑) but most things in life require some effort. There is some passive income earners that can give you a little something something without too much effort but these amounts tend to be small, the majority require time ( like gaming or waiting) or investment, most of the times both.

MISCONCEPTION 3:  ONE THING WILL EARN A LOT

   Okay so you see it all the time, so and so made thousands of dollars off of this or that.... Some people might get lucky and there is some. Kudos to them but these people put serious amount of time into that thing. They are discord ambassadors, they play when it comes to games all day like it's their job, they take part in every contest and giveaway for that particular thing, let's just say they are committed. 

   Well let's just be honest.... People have lives, kids, jobs, general crap. A wife that might kill you if you play games more than a hour or two a day 😅😅😅 Love you baby! It's hard to commit that much time and effort into one thing. And any one thing that is going to take up that much of your time is probably just too much for anyone not living in their parents basement 😔 sorry but seems right. 

MISCONCEPTION 4:  DON'T SPREAD YOURSELF OUT.

   Nothing could be further from the truth. You want your hand in as many pots as possible. In all honesty you are probably going to find one thing you put more effort into than others, and that's okay but try to sign-up or take part in as many things as you can. In the past few months I have received 7 or 8 free NFTS, 159$ from Coinbase, 50$ or so from KuCoin, roughly 35$ from Brave Browser, 15$ worth of Jump tokens from Honeygain, around 75$ in Rollercoin earnings, and an uncalculated amount in PipeFlare, faucets, publish0x and various staking. I even just recently received an Unstoppable Domains 40$ credit for a nft domain name just for being a part of Permission.io .With any luck they will do their own crypto and I will receive an airdrop of it like all them lucky Ethereum Name Service bastards who made bank from a 5$ purchase they made 5 or 6 years ago.

   Point is you never know what one sign-up might lead to or a few bucks in something. Do some research and try to hone in your gut so you do not get robbed. If something sounds to good to be true odds are it is, but if it seems reasonable then do it cause you just never know.
