Do modern science and spiritualism have concepts for exchange?
A common understanding may suggest that knowledge of modern science and spiritualism are disjoint subjects. In fact, modern science and spiritualism may often bear connecting truths about the universe.
Learned and wise humans from modern science and spiritualism often interacted and brought new insights about both.

The historic meeting of Swami Vivekananda and Nikola Tesla is proof that true knowledge doesn't care about boundaries.
The historic interaction between Swami Vivekananda and Nikola Tesla unfurled the analogous aspects of modern science and spiritualism that can exchange ideas for a better understanding of the mind, matter, energy, and the universe.
Modern science and spiritualism have invisible analogies.
In 1893, Swami Vivekananda attended the Parliament of Religion in Chicago and toured different places in the West (the United States and Europe) during the following three years.
During his tour of the United States and Europe, Swami Vivekananda met several well-known scientists, including William Thompson, Lord Kelvin, Helmholtz, and Nikola Tesla.

- At a party given by the famous French actress Sarah Bernhardt, Nikola Tesla probably first met Swami Vivekananda. Sarah had an earlier interview with Swamiji and greatly admired his teachings.

Nikola Tesla was very much impressed by Swami Vivekananda's explanation of Samkhya (number) Cosmology and the theory of cycles developed by the Indian philosophers.
Nikola Tesla was charmed by the similarities of the Samkhya theory of matter and energy explained by Swami Vivekananda and that of modern physics.
Swami Vivekananda was hopeful that Nikola Tesla would be able to show that matter is equivalent to potential energy, which would connect the Vedantic teachings to modern science.

Swami Vivekananda explained the harmony between Vedantic theories and modern science with the following schematic diagram.

Nikola Tesla was inspired by his meeting and interaction with Swami Vivekananda. Their interaction stimulated Tesla to continue his studies of Vedic philosophy for many years.
Swami Vivekananda's work and life are an inspiration to the world.
January 12 is the birthday of Swami Vivekananda.
