- Global X, Proshare and Bitwise joins the list of applicants for the Bitcoin ETF. After Blackrock's application for spot Bitcoin ETF many other investment giants have filed for a Bitcoin spot ETF. The recent entrants to this are Global X, Proshare and Bitwise. All of these are seen as a positive development in crypto market.
- Trader Joe is live on Ethereum. The Dex is already available on Arbitrum, BNB Chain and Avalanche.
- Ilya Lichtenstein and Heather Morgan Plead Guilty in a lawsuit of laundering more than 120000 Bitcoins after hacking Bitfinex in 2016. The couple had a year-long heist on Bitfinex and stolen 120000 Bitcoins and now admitted that they laundered them to Russia and Ukraine in an attempt to exchange to fiat currency ultimately withdrawing them in United States as US dollar.
- GameStop will shut down it's NFT wallet Services in November. After investing heavily in NFTs in 2021-22, GameStop puts a notice on its app and websites that 'GameStop wallet will be no more after November 1st and it is due to the regulatory uncertainty in the crypto space'.
- Coinbase asks a US judge to entirely dismiss the charges of from SEC. In recent developments Coinbase argued that 'they do not sell investment contracts so the Cryptocurrencies sold on their platform are not securities'.
- Revoult, a digital bank which also owns a crypto platform, has suspended its crypto services for US customers citing lack of regulatory clarification.
- Curve Finance offers 10% bounty to hackers who stole 62 million recently due to bug in lending protocol.
- USDT (US Tether), the largest stablecoin, wins a battle as a lawsuit about its backup has been deemed meritless by the U.S. District Court for the Southern District Of New York.
- Elon Musk confirms that X (formerly Twitter) will never launch its own coin.
