In addition, it's important to diversify the assets, so you don't put all your eggs in one basket. Market risks occur, but you don't need to worry about them. Imagine, if you bought a stock for $5 and now it costs $2, you should consider buying more because, after all, the price has dropped, so it's cheap, considering that my first purchase was at $5 and now I can buy at $2. Assets fluctuate constantly, so they can go back to costing $5 or more, and then you can make good profits by selling your shares bought at the price of $2.
It's also important to choose stocks that pay dividends, which can be monthly or annually. The best way would be to choose at least 12 stocks that pay dividends annually in staggered months. For example, my first stock pays me a dividend once a year in January, so I will look for another stock that pays dividends in February or March so that I receive a salary from my investments every month, not to mention the appreciation of the respective stocks in the long term.
