Plot Summary

John finds a camera. His thirst for adventure leads him to develop the photos and search for a woman pictured. Finding May, he teams up with her to solve the mystery of the ghost camera.

Kendall is a solid character actor. Ida Lupino is adorable, but her performance lacks the charisma and presence of some of her later films.

There is very little to set the stage for romance in this film, although there are some good jokes that may generate a fun atmosphere.

The movie does not require a large emotional investment. It has a few tense moments, but it is humorous and enjoyable.

At times this film is gimmicky, and at other times confusing. Still, the structure of following one clue to the next is satisfying and there are some original ideas sprinkled in. To rise above average, however, it would have needed more interesting characters.
