Watch Quality   A

Since this is on cable, the sound and video quality are great.

Plot Summary

The orderly, structured life of a socially-awkward paleontologist (Grant) is thrown out of balance by an eccentric, wealthy debutante (Hepburn).  Soon a new arrival threatens to either bring them together or tear them apart.

Star Power   A+

Grant and Hepburn both venture outside of their usual characters, and the results are tremendous.  Their comic timing and interplay make this a must-watch.

Chill Factor   B

You and your date will both thoroughly enjoy this movie, and there are romantic moments, but the movie is so relentlessly funny and the characters are both so flawed that it might not be the perfect choice to chill.

Mental Health Check   B-

The two characters are annoying but hilarious.  The film is very entertaining but not really relaxing, especially considering the fast pace.  A few of the jokes about gender and sexuality reveal the cultural norms of the time.

Overall Grade   A-

If you can stop laughing long enough, you may notice that there is not much of a plot or complex character development.  But does it matter?  Grant and Hepburn will have you rolling on the floor.  A fantastic watch!
