A Project Claims It Can Make Ethereum Almost Free

A few days ago, I stumbled across a project making a very bold claim.
It says it wants to solve one of Ethereum’s biggest problems: gas fees.

If you have ever used Ethereum, you probably know the feeling.
You want to make a simple transaction and then you see the fee.
Sometimes the fee is higher than the amount you are sending.
That’s the moment many people close the wallet and decide not to do anything.

Because of this, a lot of users moved to cheaper networks like Solana or BNB Chain.
Ethereum is still huge, still important but fees have always been its biggest weakness.

This is where a project called Pepeto comes in!
They are not just launching another token.
What they are trying to build is a zero fee trading platform combined with a cross chain system between Ethereum, BNB Chain and Solana.

The idea is actually interesting.
Instead of charging users transaction fees, the platform plans to make money from other sources like listing fees, platform services and cross chain operations.
So the user does not really feel the cost directly but the platform still has a business model behind it.

Another part of the project is revenue sharing.
According to their plan, some of the platform revenue will be distributed to token holders.
So in theory, if the platform grows and more people use it, token holders benefit from that activity, not just from the token price.

They are also talking about a risk scoring system that analyzes tokens before they are listed, trying to detect scam or very risky projects.
Anyone who has been in crypto for a while knows how big of a problem rug pulls are, especially in DeFi.
So if something like this actually works, it would definitely get attention.

Of course, in crypto, big promises are everywhere.
Every project says it will change everything.
The difference usually comes later, when it is time to actually build and deliver something people use.

But still, I find these kinds of projects interesting for one simple reason.
The projects that focus on solving real problems, like fees, usability and security are usually the ones that survive longer than pure hype projects!
