this tongue

  • this thing so slimy and meaty.

daring sharp alluring thorny prickles.

how softly and dangerously it is witty.

it causes havoc everywhere with shambles.

snakelike it spits venom so pretty.

in its wake it leaves crackles.

am about to put it to tight tether.

to stop its stings so destructive.

a tether I need with the urgency of a lunatic.

avoid one so weak and elastic.

lest with verosity it pulls itself free.

running helter skelter to freedom scotfree.

it will end up unceremoniously razing down homes.

families it will seriously put into flames.

its lashings are like the fangs of a serpent.

but am afraid it cannot never ever repent.

am about to put it to tight tether.

to stop its stings so destructive.

now I know you have knowledge of whomever is the concerned.

I move everywhere with him undelivered.

As much as I want him checked,

haywire he flies away unchecked.

you have destroyed left and right.

Yet he who tames you will win the fight.

am about to put it to tight tether.

to stop its stings so destructive.

Poetry is the spice of the soul. A poet is an emotional person. He creates love, hate, worry etc. A poet is a mind reader. He knows your thoughts.
