The Wrestling Match: Fiat Versus Cryptocurrency.

By stbrians | Churning Poetry | 7 Nov 2022

The ring beckoned without haste.
The referee passed with no rest.
This was a fight looked with antispation.
The arena filled with indignation.
Soon the crowd swayed in a wave.
A wrestler bounced in so to prove.
The match  was the mother of matches.
Crypto expected to dethrone Fiat.

With much plomp and colour.
Fiat entered in valor.
He greeted left and right.
Waving the champion belt ready to fight.
The crowd roared in a frency.
They cheered to mock cryptocurrency.
The match  was the mother of matches.
Crypto expected to dethrone Fiat.

He entered the inviting ring.
Bouncing as the crowd began to sing.
The announcers shouted to hoarseness.
It was charged with closeness..
The match  was the mother of matches.
Crypto expected to dethrone Fiat.

Soon the song changed in tune.
Fiat's name disappearing like a sand dune.
Crypto, composed did enter the arena.
He looked elegant and a winner.
Sizing Fiat he did scorn.
There was nothing so to adorn.
The match  was the mother of matches.
Crypto expected to dethrone Fiat.

The whistle blew in a jiffy.
The fight began in a leafy.
War did rage like a world war.
Or was it  like raw?
Fiat was winning so to speak.
He soared to the mountain peak.
The match  was the mother of matches.
Crypto expected to dethrone Fiat.

Then, so sudden and in an eye's twinkle.
Fiat's energy did wane and dwindle.
Twice he was fallen to the count.
Yet he rose and high he did mount.
But an uppercut did him in.
And Fiat fell forever within.
The match  was the mother of matches.
Crypto expected to dethrone Fiat.
