I got into Tezos last month here is an update on my portfolio and staking rewards.
My average buy on Tezos is $2.71 per coin and its currently trading at $2.91 that gives me a 7.55% increase in little over a month, which i am very happy with. This coin and blockchain is constantly getting new updates, new projects added, its used in massive business projects not just everyday users. I will be holding my coins for the long haul and i will continue to add to my portfolio weekly. Even if it does have a slight crash or sell off from institutional investors or whales i wont get shaky hands and sell. My only problem was that i got into this in early may, if i would have invested at the beginning of the year i would be seeing massive returns right now, but hindsight is 20/20 i will not beat my self up over it. There is still more room for growth, its still an early project, i didnt get in on it at the ground floor but definitely the 4th floor.
Staking with Tezos has been a really easy process for me, like i wrote in My first blog post
It was super simple, i set up my Trust wallet, went to the staking menu in the Tezos wallet and picked my Baker to delegate my funds too. When you delegate your funds they stay in your wallet, you don't have to worry about any service running off with your coins and cashing out at your expense. I got my first reward right at around 20 days and now im getting rewards every three days. my first few rewards will stay at around 2-5 cents because i didnt have that many coins in my staking account. After about three more weeks my rewards will go to 10-15 cents every three days which is actually pretty great compared to any savings account that are on the market right now. All those rewards get added to your staking balance automatically which in return gives you compound interest. Also on Baking when your Baker gets more coins delegated to their account they get more block rewards which gives you a nice little bump in your earnings, be on the look out for high staking balances as well when looking for a reputable Baker. Decent bakers are not hard to find you can find them at https://baking-bad.org/ it will give you a complete breakdown on all of their stats, you can also put your address in and check your account and rewards.
All in all Tezos is a solid investment with a quality dev team who cares about their projects and team, i am excited for whats to come for Tezos overall and my portfolio balance in the coming months/years.
