With cyrptocurrency gaining more traction over the last few years it has brought in a ton of new people into this 24/7 unregulated market. With that brings a lot of fear because you can go to sleep one night with a pretty good sized nest egg and then wake up to a nuked portfolio, it has definitely happened to me when i would buy random coins hoping for a massive price increase but what happens to me is that i fall asleep during the pump and then left with the dump.  That can be very devastating to a person who already isnt stable or has issues going on in their personal life, this can drive people to make rash decisions. Just look at all the bankers/investors who commit suicide when their projects/investments go belly up and most of these people are better equipped at taking loses than the typical investor.
