It has been about two weeks since I first posted about Stacker News and I wanted to post a follow-up since I have already hit some nice milestones! At first, I wasn't exactly sure what to post or what to comment on, and when I tried my posts failed to garner much attention oh how the last couple of weeks have changed it all!
My first big breakthrough was when I commented on a post that asked about the big purchase you had made recently. I told the story of getting my dog's ashes made into a diamond and that post alone earned me 9,238.5 sats! Since I didn't want to bore people with a long comment I cut it short and also then wrote a post about it expanding upon the whole situation. That post earned me 9,308.7 sats! At the time of writing this $1 is equal to 1,477 sats so these posts earned me a few dollars!
Not all my posts knock it out of the park some of them barely break 100 sats back. I realized that my goal shouldn't be to earn huge returns but rather to get my sats back and have people comment and engage with the post! As this has happened more and more I have realized how my posts average earn has increased. Plus commenting back and forth with others also gives me the ability to earn sats for my responses as well!
Over the last week, I have earned over 30k sats! A big part of this has come down to just learning these key things. When you break it down and look at it posting is pretty expensive compared to commenting. Commenting costs only a single sat making it extremely easy to stack sats! I would say right now I am averaging several hundred to over a thousand sats a day which isn't bad at all!
