I had previously heard of Stacker News before but I did not know anyone who was on it. Thanks to one of, if not, my favorite authors on Publish0x Cryptosensei I was not only introduced but learned so much about Stacker News and its unique community! That is not to say anything bad about Publish0x as I love writing and reading articles on here but sometimes I don't want to read only about crypto the number 1 topic posted about and tipped on Publish0x.
While I have only been on there a few weeks I have noticed something rather interesting that I do not run into here. Articles seem to either do very very well or they will completely flop meaning they wont gain any traction be it a tip or comment. Since I am just starting out and still trying to figure it out I have been hesitant to deposit any sats even though that would allow me to boost some articles. Stacker News also allows your comments to be tipped which is something I have actually found some success in and I enjoy. From what I have seen so far it seems to help push engagement on good comments instead of random things.
Because of how work has been my writing activity has decreased but now that Congress has entered two weeks of recess and more importantly we passed funding through the end of September I wont have the work stress that inhibited my ability to write. As anyone that has looked at the state of US politics can see it is a mess here and while Crypto keeps being talked about being the next thing to tackle I am becoming more and more doubtful that anything will end up being accomplished. Throw in sudden midterm retirements by Members of the House Majority Republican Party, soon they will have a whopping 1 vote lead it makes the disfunction even worse.
