It seems that even cable television networks are wanting in on blockchain and more importantly the NFT rush! Honestly who better though than the creator of Rick and Morty to be the one creating the show for it to! Dan Harmon show is full of scify tech and young adult humor which would fit the general demographic as well.
While not a lot is known about this project from Fox they have created a new company called Blockchain Creative Labs to handle this aspect. The show has also been named that will be blockchain based...... the true meaning of that is something that is up for debate since they have not clearly stated how the show will function on blockchain. Krapopolis is the name of the show and is about an ancient Greek family of humans, gods, and monsters. This type of thing definitely fall into the realm of what I could see Dan Harmon excelling at.
With Fox saying they were going to bring advertisers into the blockchain realm and I would assume that means its a slam dunk for NFTs to become a key feature in collectables and other fan gear. I would assume the advertisers could also be brought in by having ads on the NFTs unless you possibly pay more and thus unlock ad free NFTs. I am interested to see how a show on the blockchain will function and be created. Does this mean a platform is being set up to buy episodes to watch??? It is a rather fascinating idea that I look forward to see evolving.
