The first thing I want to say is that Publish0x and the authors here have changed my life for the better and to everyone that helps run the platform, writes, or even just reads and comments their thoughts and concerns THANK YOU SO MUCH! It is because of this platform that I realized I did not have to have a ton of extra money to make money in crypto. The community is always finding new projects to inform us all about and it really is an amazing and beautiful thing to see!
It was on this platform that I first learned about DeFi and yield farming. It started with the super basic platform Compound but then moved to Harvest and countless other ones now! With all of the different things though I learned the clear distinction between active and passive income. See I thought when I first started using this platform that writing, at least to me and how I felt, was a passive stream however I have since come to look at it like many other here do and see it as an active way to earn.
If you are looking to find some good authors who provide fantastic articles consistently there are a couple in particular I would recommend! Both johnwege and Sapphire are great at both providing fantastic news and great way to compound and earn more on your crypto holdings! Plus the provide the information in a quick and easy way to follow which is fantastic for someone like myself who is still learning the ins and outs of the crypto space!
In my personal opinion one of the best ways to earn consistent and 100% passive income is utilizing a crypto savings account. However trying to figure out which one to chose to me was a daunting task because of the sheer number of them. Within this space you have huge heavy weights that I am sure you have heard of like Nexo, Celsius, and Blockfi to name a few. Thanks to Publish0x though I feel I have found one that is truly a cut above those three big names.
What crypto savings account do I feel is a cut above and the one that I personally utilize? Hodlernaut. I have loved how easy to use the platform is and how fantastic the customer service has been with any questions I have had. A big question for me was would my funds be secure and with what I have found both on their website and talking to their customer service it might be one of the better secured platforms.
Another key thing is the way they chose who they lend to. Not only do they have their loans over collateralized by 130% which is a huge amount itself but they also only lend to corporate entities with good credit scores. This means that they are charging these big interest rates to institutions that are not in DeFi which was something I particularly like as is lessen the risk of any issue arising with the loan! Like you would expect they also lend out to multiple parties and do not put all their eggs in one basic as the saying goes!
I also appreciate the streamlined approach as other platforms offer a variety of different cryptos to lend Hodlernaut doesn't and keeps in simple. Currently there are 6 different cryptos that you can lend however three of those are stablecoins and are USDC, USDT, and DAI. These stablecoins have amazing yields themselves with USDC and USDT yielding 12.7% APR and DAI yielding 8.3% APR. The other three cryptos you can lend are BTC, ETH, and WBTC all three of these have the same APR at 7.2%. The best part from all of this? You can lend BTC and collect the yield in ETH or lend BTC and USDC like I do and collect the yields in BTC! The ability to do this is amazing because when BTC for instance starts to move sideways, meaning it is not increasing or decreasing in price, the amount of BTC I receive goes up! Payments are done weekly on Mondays and that is another thing I love!
Overall this platform has been amazing so far. I have absolutely no complaints what so ever! Please know I am not a financial advisor I am just someone who picked up on a trend and wanted to express it!
