A few days ago there was an updated video on the Pi Network app when I went on to turn back on my mining. It was only just a few weeks ago that the Pi Team developed and implemented the wallet feature for desktop node users. Now, this has been expanded to all users including iOS and Android cellphone users. Based on using some common sense the desktop node launch must not have had too many problems and so more network activity was needed to test the network.
When you click the link they provide you to get the browser and wallet you are gifted 100 free test pi. Now, this pi has no value and is 100% just for testing the network. You can send any amount to anyone whether you know them or not. The browser will be a really cool feature to see developed. They had not really talked about it much until this update.
The browser will host the dapp built on the network and give people an easy place to access them. While there is really minimal stuff on there now the basic idea is laid out as with the wallet. It is bare enough that it is easy to see if is a test feature and a lot of polishing will be done before the launch. After all, a development team is going to want their product to look the best before they release it to the masses!
Anyways this was just a quick update to an interesting development I did not see coming from the team at Pi!
