ship in a bottle

The first trumpet is sounding

The first trumpet is now sounding.

The second trumpet is next, and a third of the world's waters will turn to blood.  People will marvel that the things that are happening look just like what the Bible says will happen.  Wherein times past, only rarely would someone have something convincing to point at and claim they see the Antichrist, nowadays, the argument is, "well these can't all be the Antichrist" because there are so many of them.

Like a masterful ship-builder who meticulously builds ships in bottles, working piece by piece, patiently, ever so intentionally placing and securing and pulling and intertwining each piece of the ship, until that day when it is ready to stand tall with its sails pulled taut, having been finished.

Until the day that the ship-builder pulls the string that pulls all the other strings, the ship only even barely resembles the tall glorious form that it will soon take, but when the builder has finished, and the time comes to display it, in a moment, the ship is transformed into something worthy of beholding, worthy of looking at in awe, worthy of calling good.

God has put together His masterpiece, and His glory is much more than a ship-builder building replicas in a bottle.

And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.

2 And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets.

3 And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.

4 And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand.

5 And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.

6 And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.

7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.

8 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;

9 And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.

Jesus Christ is Lord! This ministry is blessed by God to observe and report what is real and happening around us today, and to share God's Word among the nations, and to share the rest and contentment which comes from knowing Jesus Christ. ~ Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. 2 It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep. Psalm 127.1-2
