Finding My Heart
In the search of darkness,
Will I find you?
Inside the waters,
Of a temperate zone.
Will you be there?
Or will I remain alone?
In the maddening swamp of my soul,
Will you be there to help me regain control?
I feel you somewhere among,
Something in my bosom is missing upon.
I hear you beating in my mind.
As I know I couldn’t leave you behind.
Faster it beats,
As If I knew all along.
That you were in the darkness.
You were in the temperate waters.
When I was alone.
In the maddening bog.
And inside my breast.
I had felt you even when I deemed you as long gone.
But from the very start.
I knew it was you who had stolen my heart.
