Cherries And Roses
You're bright as a cherry.
Yet dim as a rose.
I love you like poetry.
Yet you are my prose.
When I first saw you, my heart froze.
You're a light that glimmers,
One that glows.
You're perfect no matter what pose.
There is no other flower whose beauty grows.
And none other that I chose.
For you're bright as cherry.
Yet dim as a rose.
