Elon Musk has concluded his tenure in the Trump administration as the head of the US Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Musk's role lasted 130 days, (January 20 to May 30), Musk announced his departure on May 28. Musk's entire tenure was based on saving and cut down unnecessary spending, he was paid $0.00 for his role.
My Point
Musk targeted saving $2 trillion, but due to pressure, it was reduced the to $150 billion. Still this was a good savings. Musk's criticism of Trump's spending might have contributed to his decision. However, Musk thanked Trump for the opportunity.
