TL;DR
- ChainPort is thrilled to announce that Polygon is now part of ChainPort’s ecosystem as a supported blockchain.
- Users can now use ChainPort to transfer any asset from Ethereum to Polygon within seconds.
- ChainPort’s super easy to use blockchain bridge will make it possible for anyone to transfer their tokens to Polygon in just a few clicks
- You can take advantage of Polygon traffic in decentralized exchanges like QuickSwap.
Many projects that deploy on Ethereum like to have access to the Polygon Network since it is a highly scalable layers 2 solution for Ethereum. Due to the need for a viable layers 2 solution for Ethereum, the amount of liquidity & total value locked on Polygon has drastically increased in 2021.
ChainPort is a blockchain bridge provider and it has fully integrated a bridge to the Polygon Network. Users can now transfer any token from Ethereum over to the Polygon Network by using ChainPort’s terminal.
ChainPort is building a hub of blockchain bridges that allows anyone to easily transfer their tokens from Ethereum onto a plethora of other blockchains. As of now ChainPort’s terminal only supports bridges between Ethereum to Polygon, and Binance Smart Chain, but more bridges to various other Networks will be integrated very soon.
This integration is a huge move for ChainPort as we want to build a cross-chain solution with massive adoption. We think the future of interoperability has good bridges, and we want to be the best one.
This is a win-win situation for both ChainPort and Polygon. Having top-quality bridges working in their chain is a great opportunity to attract new projects to move liquidity to Polygon (Matic).
About Polygon (Matic)
Polygon is the first well-structured, easy-to-use platform for Ethereum scaling and infrastructure development. Its core component is Polygon SDK, a modular, flexible framework that supports building and connecting Secured Chains like Plasma, Optimistic Rollups, zkRollups, Validium, etc, and Standalone Chains Polygon POS, designed for flexibility and independence. Polygon’s scaling solutions have seen widespread adoption with 400+ Dapps, ~250M txns, and ~1.4M+ unique users.
About ChainPort
ChainPort is one of the first permissionless bridges between blockchains. Anyone can freely use ChainPort’s highly interactive user interface to port tokens over to different blockchains. Chainport only provides a bridge between Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain (BSC), but bridges to and from more networks will be added very soon.
With so many blockchains in the space right now, interoperability is considered the most important route for the future. ChainPort aims to have fully operable bridges between Ethereum, BSC, Polygon, Polkadot, and Cardano. Any token ported over from various blockchains using ChainPort is fully operable there and can interact with any of the DApps on the Networks.
