My favourite artists of all time (part 2)

Have you ever felt that your day needs "that" band for your day to be complete? have you ever felt empty just because that song hasn't been played while you are working, doing excercise, trading crypto, or playing videogames online? Well, that my friend, is your favourite band/artist/trova/singer

As a disclamer, i'm not doing a top x of any of the artist/bands/genre/etc in this article, as a matter of fact, there is no order of any kind here, i'm placing them as they appear in my mind and in my heart, so, if you think X should be in X spot, read again this disclamer.

There will be no order of influence, or genre, only what i feel.

1. Inti Illimani (original and historic)

This guys are a tsunami of talent, they are one of the "legenday" bands here in Chile, they have been doing music non-stop for 54 years (They started in 1967). Any Chilean or south american have listen at least a song from them (even without knowing it!).

2. Meshuggah

Meshuggah, the greatest inspirer to quit drums. Jokes aside, there's no much to tell about them that we already know, every great musician knows Meshuggah, and have a huge respect for this swedish band, and it's an adquired taste, because the musical atmosphere they create is so dense, that is not for every ear at first, until you figure out what is all about. Massive but precise polyrithm, lyrics really well written, everything wrapped so well that it feels like a paralizing venom, that sends you to another world. If i have to pick quickly 3 songs i love about them would be Bleed, Neurotica, and New Millenium Cyanide Christ.

This one was the first meshugga's song i've listened ever.

Ronnie James Dio (rest in peace)

The absolute legend. The first time i've listened to him was when he was in Black Sabbath, then i've listened when he did his solo project, after that when he did his Heaven & Hell Tribute band and finally i listened on his first band ever, Rainbow. And in each of them, i felt the chills when i hear his epic voice.

I love this cover he made with Yngwie Malmsteen

Until this day, i regret not being able to go to one of his concerts because i cannot afford to travel to another city.

He has so much respect from the metal community, a group of various artist of the metal scene (Metal Allegiance) made a cover from him.

I loved this cover.
