During a walk in the field at sunset I was taking photos of the flowers with their bright colors and I came across this bumblebee that was flying from flower to flower.

I was lucky that he stood long enough on these beautiful lilac flowers to be able to take this close-up photo of them.

Sometimes we do not realize the role and importance of these insects in nature.
