Alright guys, after writing an article on Brave Browser, which you can check out here, I ended up finding this wonderful extension which can be used with any browser, including Brave Browser.

It's called Presearch, and it rewards people for searching using their search engine with a currency called PRE. PRE is similar to BAT in that it is a currency which is rewarded for internet activity, especially searching and interacting with advertisements, but in a totally different way from how BAT works. BAT is something like a tipping service you can use to empower content creators and tip currency to content creators that you like anywhere on the web. Meanwhile, PRE is a currency which can be staked in order to advertise your links and marketing via the currency, by having a majority claim in say, Dogs, you will be one of the forefront links on the search "Dogs". This is an alternative way to create visibility on the web, which is different from Google's current search systems, which utilize AdSense and fiat.

PRE is currently worth about $.03, and you can earn PRE every day by performing searches utilizing either the website, Presearch.org, or the extension, Presearch Search bar. This is an easy way to slowly amass yet another type of currency! It's very easy to sign up, simply requiring an email address and a password, and you will begin storing your PRE as you make searches via their search engine. Furthermore, it works great with Brave Browser, and as such, I assume it will work great with Chrome as well!

You can withdraw your PRE when you reach 2000 PRE Total, but there's a small caveat currently, which is that you can only withdraw 50% of what you make. This was likely implemented to encourage less offboarding of PRE and to help keep the currency focused on its purpose within the Search Engine. This is currently being re-worked, so it will likely change in the near future, how it will change though, I do not know.

There is also an option to Stake your PRE, however, I will do an in-depth article on this in the future, as it is not the same as other staking types. PRE is more focused on internal value creation, and is a currency that is used to boost your search ratings, as such, one should see this Staking option as more of an advertising or marketing focused strategy, rather than an earning focused strategy. When this article is done I will link it here!

So far, I quite enjoy this search tool, it is not quite as intuitive as Google is on certain types of searches, but it appears to constantly be improving. At one point, it could not do calculations and measurements, and I found myself considering switching back to Google, however, in just a week, that issue has been resolved and they continue to update their engine. This is a good sign for a long-term project, with solid foundations.

My current issue is a very common issue among crypto-related projects: I am having difficulty finding more information about the Team, which is crucial to a project's success and viability. I am hoping I will have an update on this section in the near future, but for now, enjoy this:

I normally meet these types of things with skepticism, but this one in particular, along with Brave Browser, I am extremely optimistic about and looking forward to my year's experience with these two. I believe that it's very likely that I will continue to utilize these after a year as a means of passive income and a way to interact with companies via tipping and encouraging online behavior that I want to see!

I think because it does not require any financial info, KYC, or anything too complicated, I totally recommend trying it along with me! I don't think there's much risk involved beyond PRE suddenly losing value. Keep in mind that PRE is currently valued at .03 during a crypto market crash, meaning this is the deflated value of the currency, and in another bull market, will likely rise, exponentially increasing your earnings if you start early. Per usual, I am not saying you will get rich here, but this is an excellent opportunity to gain a small amount of supplemental crypto-based income monthly.
