So many of you saw the article about Brave Browser, an opportunity to earn their token, BAT through non-invasive ads which pop up in your notifications via mobile or desktop. If you haven't, I recommend checking that out here. 

This is another, different type of browser, called CryptoTab which uses your CPU in order to mine BTC. Earn passively while utilizing your browser, just like Brave, only this one does not require viewing ads! For some, Brave Browser might be the better option, for others, Crypto, and for a few who want to maximize their earnings, perhaps both?

CryptoTab is also a chromium based browser, like Brave Browser, which means it is relatively resource intensive. 

You earn small amounts of BTC by simply using it with the mining tab opened and activated on 1 of 4 levels, each level doubling your resource usage but also doubling your mining rate! As you utilize it (or leave it running in the background) you will slowly accumulate satoshis of BTC, which can be withdrawn at .00001 BTC, making it relatively easy to withdraw from this pretty regularly. I have not done a withdraw yet, so I will update with a secondary article in the near future about whether or not this is done easily.

In total, over the week (in which I constantly forgot to activate this over night, etc. etc.) I have made about .000007 BTC, which is like 25 cents of passive income. Certainly not much, but an opportunity to earn free BTC is always nice. I also do not have an excellent CPU, so earnings may be higher for many mid-high range computers. It also receives a boost when you are using it actively vs passively, so an active user will receive more BTC than a passive user. Keep this in mind, as I am passively keeping the browser in the background at my current mining rate.

I will be trying this browser out for at least 1 Year to determine whether or not it is a recommended free entry point into Crypto, so you can expect lots of activity from me, which will boost your earnings as well. 

Cloud Boost is a monthly subscription which costs about .0000765 BTC per Month to boost by 2x Speed, and then it doubles in price each time, but the multipliers are 5x, 10x, and 15x respectively. I have not used these boosters yet, I want to make sure my monthly mining rate is high enough to allow me to purchase one of these plans before doing so. I will add an additional article dedicated to Cloud Boost in the future, when I have had additional experience with it. 

I have not been able to test it much yet, and I have not used Cloud Boost yet, so I am currently going to wait for 2 Months, in order to 1: Get a proper monthly amount, and 2: Test Cloud Boost in order to compare potential earnings and see which is best. After 2 months, I will make an additional article about whether or not I recommend it, along with, hopefully, a short and easy withdraw tutorial! I'll of course be using it for an additional year as well, to track and leave a final recommendation on it next year! Be sure to check back for these articles at some point!
