With the new release of the C8 Corvette, Chevy has received a lot of controversial feedback. From one point of view, the car looks amazing. It can compete with super car designs.

From first glance, this beast could be easily mistaken for a Ferrari especially in that bright red. 

Under the hood, we can find a 6.2 liter V8 that makes close to 500 horsepower. The car is mid engine, meaning that the engine is behind the seats. This allows for better weight distribution and provides downforce on the rear wheels to limit traction issues off the line.
