The upcoming Mercedes EQXX will be a 'software-driven prototype', whatever that means

By LeftFooted | Cars & tech | 15 Dec 2021

Mercedes is expanding the EQ line-up with yet another saloon/coupe/whatever, dubbed the Vision EQXX, which is going to be revelaed at this year's Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas on January 3, 2022.

They've also released one teaser image and the shape looks interesting, almost like a fastback four-door coupe. Mercedes CEO Ola Källenius said this is going be a 'software-defined research prototype'. I'm not even sure what that means but I'm assuming they mean it's equipped with a software that does... things.

I guess we'll find out soon enough.
