They're saying that nearly one in two employees working the latest and hottest tech company in the world is now a millionaire.
So many of them have a portfolio of at least $25 million.
The company in question is worth $3.5 trillion, and has 36,000 employees, and they all own stock.
That's NVIDIA, of course.
When I was growing up, which is not that long ago, NVIDIA was a company only nerds would've heard of (because they were making components for computers).
Now, NVIDIA is the hottest thing in the world because of AI, because so many AI companies or companies that 'dabble' with AI, need NVIDIA hardware.
On average, an NVIDIA employee is making $301,233 a year, and presumable some of that also includes stock options.
But the point is, let's just imagine you've been at NVIDIA for a while.
Let's imagine you were paid in stock that was worth a few thousand, tens of thousands of dollars.
Now that's worth millions.
So, today's moral of the story, get hired by a public company, get paid in stock, sell before it goes wrong.
