Even Saudi Arabia is jumping on the AI bandwagon

By LeftFooted | Cars & tech | 10 Feb 2025

2024 was the year of AI, and it looks like that's not gonna change at all in 2025.

In fact, all AI companies, and even some non-AI companies, are ramping up their efforts this year.

Including Saudi Arabia, a state nation that's also a giant company.

On February 9, Abdullah Alswah, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, said the Kindgom intends to invest $14.9 billion on AI this year.

Considering how rich the country is, it doesn't even sound like much.

Either way, this investment will involve, among others, Lenovo, Qualcomm, Alibaba Cloud e Google Cloud.
