working hard

By can-amcitizen | can-am citizen | 4 Jan 2023

Hi everyone. Well, I have been a very busy boy, lol. I got my bathroom walls up on the bus. Order and just received my freshwater tank (40 gallon), my grey water tank (46 gallon) and my black water (28-gallon portal one). I was about to start on my flooring in my house when my wife asked me to take our little outside roofed in area (6' x 4") and turn it into an enclosed sitting area with half walls with plexiglass top off on all outside walls I build. So, I said sure, and I built her a little enclosed sunroom to be able to get some sunlight without been outside. It took me 5 days to enclose it and seal it properly. We already had a door going out into that area, so I just had to take the siding off the house to excess it again. Now that I got my water tanks for the bus, the next thing I am going to be doing is to install them under the bus and run all my plumbing. Again, doing all the work myself. I built insulted wooden boxes to put my water tanks in and I am using steel grid to mount under the boxes to protect my boxes/tanks from flying objects off the road. I got threaded steel rod to attach the boxes/steel grid to my bus frame. Already drilled the holes for the rods. I am moving along great, and I think I will have the bus/house projects done in about 1to 2 months. Doing that first, then I will finish the flooring and trim in my house. Hoping to have everything done before my birthday which is Feb. 20th. Then we will put our house on the market and once it sells live out of the bus until we find some property to build on. I will build our house myself this time. I also have been eating really good and I have lost 30 to 40 lbs., went from 165/170 lbs. down to 130 to 135 lbs. I have never felt better and had so much energy before. I found out last week that my friend/1st cousin that is my age just had a massive stroke at work. He was rushed to the hospital, and they found out that is had brain bleeding and blood clot in the brain also. He was then put into a coma so they could operate and get the clot and reduce the bleeding. He has had two more blood clots so then. They bought him out of the coma two days ago and he seems to be doing just ok. I am reminded that life can be taken away at any time without warning. He was in good health too no signs anything was wrong. So, I am trying my best to be positive and live my life in the now and I am having gratitude for what I have. My wife, my daughters, my house and be able to just work part time from online and living comfortably. I also got my ministry license so I can now officiant wedding. And I published a trade journal, and I am working on a couple of books. my journal is on amazon, it is the one with the sharks as a cover. ok, time to go. May life bring you a smile, laughter and love.
