Hi everyone , how is you all doing? today I got to do a zoom call with my mom .It was awesome, she looked healthy and happy. It has been about 20 years since I have seen her that way. It was good to be able to see her . Its hard when I am here in the U.S and she is in Ontario, Canada. I miss her a lot . When I was a single dad with two little girls to raise on my own, she was there for me. She was my babysitter for 6 days a week , most of the time I would have to work 10 to 12 hr days. I remember the long work shifts(landscaping very physically hard on the body) , then having  to pick them up  and go home then cook diner, play with them, them put them to bed( they were 3 and 1 when I left my ex). the first 2 to 3 years I was single with them , they never slept all through the night. So I would get up during the night at least twice, then get back up at 5 am to get them ready and take them to moms  and be to work for 7 am . It was hard for a long time . The hardest days where the days my ex promised them she would pick them up for the day or for over night , then she would not show up or even call. The heart break in my girls eyes was so painful . I would just hold them some nights until they fell asleep. I am tearing up just thinking about it. that was 20 years ago and I can still see that look . Now they are all grown up and living in two different towns in Ontario. I miss them a lot. I hope to be able to see them more often. At least with having the internet and facebook, I get to still be a part of their lives. Anyway, I had a great time with my mom, we laughed , and talked about life in general. It is a great day. I was reading headlines on yahoo and seen something that I think was so wrong that I am going to share it. I live in a state that people were getting mad when our state made mandatory mask wearing , they did protests and sent letters to our state representative. They were all up in arms saying it infringed on their rights and free will to make their own decisions. Well , I just read that in Washington State a judge took away custody of a woman's children from her because she did not get vaccinated.  This is wrong on so many levels. First and for most, I bet the judge did it because of his own believes on the subject. That is wrong because judges are suppost to be impartial at all times and follow the law, that's it. His believes should never be a part of it. I would die if that ever would have happened to me. I think the judge is wrong and I think he should be removed from the bench because his judgement is compromised. And as for the vaccine, I think it is up to each person to decide for themselves. I do not judge anyone for what they choose. I do my part, I wear masks at all times in public and I wear gloves. my wife has a weak immune system so I do everything I can to not get it. When I get home  from grocery shopping, I put the groceries away in a tot I have in my garage, and in the fridge in my garage. I them go into the house put my clothes I wear to the store into the washer and start it ,then go shower for at least 15 minutes washing each body part for 1 minute each at a time. I then go and sanitize the car ,then anywhere I touched or had to walk by.   I leave the groceries in the garage  for 3 days to make sure that  they do not have covid on them. Then I also have to put everything into plastic bags because they smell like tide most of the time and my wife has MCS(multiple chemical sensitivity). And when she smells plastic, grasses, weeds, smoke, laundry soap, really anything that gives off an odor she goes into a flare up( flu like symptoms, out of breathe, feeling like she just got the life sucked out of her) . So everything comes out of their boxes and put into the bags so she does not react to them . I also have to use only unscented cleaners for when I do the house cleaning, dishes , and laundry. Even when I am just out in my yard working , when I come in I have to take off my outdoor  clothes and shower so that the grass smell does not send her into flare up. Nothing is simple anymore, everything is a long process to ensure that she stays well. I have been doing this now for about 7 years and I will do it for the rest of my life because she is my soul mate and I love this women . I need her like I need to breath air or eat food to live. We have so much fun together, laughing at silly stuff, acting like teenagers again, singing, playing games, and walking together. my wife and I are about to begin doing tai chi from online lessons. Can't wait it is going to be great. We enjoy a lot of the same stuff and  I believe that is key to having a strong and good marriage. So it is time for me to get going, I need to go and prepare my wife's meals for the day for her. She does her own desserts( they are all her own recipes that are only made with healthy food ). They are high in protein and low carb. I keep bugging her to come out with her own cookbook because her food tastes  even better then the store food. Especially her desserts. Ok well I hope your day is full of smiles, laughter and love .
