sadness

Last Tuesday my brother-in-law called me to tell me my sister was in the hospital , she had fallen down and hurt her back. I thought wow, how did she do that. Then what he told me next shocked me to my core. I thought what is he going to tell me next? He then told me that my sister has been battling cancer for the last year, she had done kemo and it had gone into reemission. A little back history for you all, my mothers side of the family, all the women have died from breast cancer before the age of 60, there was 4 women in all. my mother has gotten it twice and had to have both breasts removed , but she has survived it. She is now 84 and doing good. So then he said for the last    two months it has come back and it is now spread all through her, from her hip down. she is going down hill fast . The next day he zoomed with me so i could see my sister and tell her that i love her, that was very kind for him to do that for me and my wife. My sister was just laying there moaning in pain and she smiled a little at us and did a half wave. So as you would image i have been in shock, alot to handle at once. I have not seen my sister in almost two years . The last time I want back home to Canada was to see my mother in the hospital ,she had fallen down and burnt herself cooking, and she would be transferred to a long term care portion  of the hospital. I seen my sister then and got what would be my last picture of her with me and mom. My sister passed this morning around 10 am. As I write this with tears in my eyes , I want to my sister to say hi to dad for me up there and someday we will see each other again. Love you sis. She was 54 years old
