hi everyone . I just got done installing my water tanks to my bus. I first built each an insulated box to put them in. Then i put them in the boxes and then mounted to the underneath of the bus by threaded rod with washers and nuts. That was harder than I thought it would be and very well worth it I think. Now I am just waiting on my plumbing parts to get here from Amazon , then I can get the plumbing all done. I am moving along nicely with the remodel of it. I will also be installing my two sinks, toilet and hot water tankless propane heater at the same time. This is the part of the remodel I was looking forward to, I love doing plumbing. So far I think I have spend around $2500.00 on the remodel so if I can keep it under $6000.00 that will mean I have only spend about 15,000.00 all together on a rv bus with only 103,000 miles on it. It is 35 feet by 7 1/2 feet of living space too, awesome. That including buying price, taxes, emissions, and remodel. I think that is one hell of a deal. The motor is a 5 speed manual transmission and the engine has no oil leaks so woohoooo. Everything in it so far is made out of non-wood parts. The wall and ceiling of it has 4' x 8' plastic sheeting, frame to bathroom made out of 1" x 2" steel square pipe with plastic sheeting for walls.Even the floor I used is vinyl laminate flooring. So this rv bus will be totally for people with multi-chemical sensitivities and allergies. My wife loves it so far and she is always telling me how she loves that I don't mind doing all this extra work for her health issues. I think the hardest one that I do for her is the grocery shopping. The reason for that is I have to mask up and glove up before going into to each store. Then once I am back to the car and the groceries are put into the trunk, I then take off my gloves before I touch the door handle , get inside the car. After that I use lysol wipes to disinfect myself and anything I touched when I got into the car. Each store I go to I do this each time. Then when i get home I put on gloves(depositable) again and processed to put the groceries into totes and a fridge in the garage. They still there for at least 3 days to protect her from covid because if she got that it would 90 % of killing her. I then bring them into my house and I have to take everything out of the packaging and bag them into ziplocks because all the groceries smell like laundry soap( especially Walmart groceries) and the smell sends my wife into a bad flare up( she feels like a very bad flu, she becomes all sore , achy, and find it hard to even breathe along with her fibro begins to hurt even more) . I also take all veggies and soak then in vinegar for about 30 minutes ,then cut them up and put them into ziplocks too. I do this gladly because her health and safety is my goal. And I also completing doing the new sunroom where the wife can go and sit in private from everyone else to just enjoy the sunlight without smelling the outdoor odors. She is so excited about it.I just have the living room, and my office to do th trim , then the flooring inside my house and that remodel will be done also. Just in time for spring to put it onto the market. I think it will sell quick because I have 1 master bedroom(13' x 24' with 10' ceiling) 1 bathroom upstairs with office, living room and dining room( open concept ) and it is about 1200 sqft. Then I have the basement which has it own entrance with 2 bedrooms( 8' x 10') each, room to put a small bathroom and a living area of about 600 sqft to put a kitchenette in to turn it into a two bdrm apartment. There is a detached 3 bay garage. 2 bay garage door on the front of it. and a single garage door on the left side of it at the back. Garage is roughly 24' x 30'. Behind the garage there is a 10' x 30' shed with a double door on it(roughly 8 feet wide and 6 feet tall). I have about 1/3 of an acre in total. It has 100 feet of road frontage. it is a rectangle shape - 100' wide x 150' deep roughly. I will probably put it on the market for $399,000. Ok time to get back to work. May life bring you a smile, laughter and love.
