In this week's news, Coinbase annouced that they will not be supporting any political activism of any kind outide of its mission.  Essentially, Coinbase's mission is to make profits but with so many cryptocurrencies out there that line up with advancing social progress, like Bitcoin, there appears to be some dissonance with this stance.  If you are looking for an exchange and an exchange CEO that takes a completely different approach, look no further than to AltMarket, Inc. CEO, Bryce Wiener, who is actively pushing for social justice through the deployment of blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies.
