Bitcoin markets have been consolidating since the beginning of the year, but on-chain metrics are painting a more positive picture as more of the asset is becoming illiquid. On-chain analytics provider Glassnode has been delving into Bitcoin supply metrics to get a better view of the longer-term macro trends in its weekly report. OpenSea, one of the most talked about blockchain start-ups in Silicon Valley, said on Tuesday that had it raised $300 million in new venture capital, making it the latest company to cash in on a rush to fund cryptocurrency start-ups. El Salvador last month announced it would issue Bitcoin-backed bonds. The country's finance minister today said it was moving ahead with the legislation to do so.
