This week we found out which country would be first to release its CBDC and the winner is the Bahamas!  The Sand Dollar will be able to be transferred via mobile phone, which ensures 90% adoption for the island nation's population of 393,000 who own a cellular device.  BitMex has been a recent target of US regulators for allegations such as money laundering.  As a result, the exchange has decided to beef up their KYC procedures after the fact to avoid further scrutiny on the issue.  Now over 50% of the Bitcoin derivative exchange's users are verified and looking to close the loop in the coming months.  This week's featured podcast comes to us from Crypto Current, #126:
