Mammillaria gracilis

Characteristics:
A relatively small plant, with a steam that grows up to 5-10cm, with lots of small ramifications that make the growing form a colony, with a total width of somewhere around 20cm. The body is fully covered with pure white spines that grow in a star-shape.

Cares:
It preffers direct sunlight exposure and abundant watering during the hot seasons (summer and spring). Watering can be done once or twice a week during summer and slowly make them more separated during spring and mostly no watering at all during winter. Optimal range of temperatures goes from 15-35°C, with a limit of 5°C cold tolerance (althoug in my experience it can tolerate lower ones and eventually values below 0°C). Soil must allow a quick dry of water as the plant is quite susceptible to moisture rooting.

Flowering:
Flowers bloom during spring-summer, being them yellow or a creamish-white tone.
