I have always been fascinated with the creativity of artists. In my own definition, people who can express the unexplainable, unthinkable and unimaginable, make it all visible, seem so simple and approvable.
Take famous painters and musicians for instance, those individuals, the ones that originated with original pieces. Where did they get it from? I mean yeah they had ideas, could credit talent, could be IQ, but why? What was going on in their heads that made them come to that single solution? What made them be so confident in doing something that had not been done before, and with so much perfection that until this day, "it", that single action is still held as template to many instances now more so or less reflections of that one deed?
Which leads me to novel and film writers. Now these guys went a step further in creating worlds and one could say parallel universes. Worlds far away where certain people, objects, kingdoms, people and lives exist. I mean it is acceptable that it might have been the work of the imagination, but if you really think about it, you have to ask the question sometimes, "like really?".
Ok , bare with me for a minute, i know i am rambling but take for instance "Sir" as I like to call him, Stephen King. ( for those not familiar with him, please take time to just dig a bit) . The man is brilliant, but his brilliance is not of too many kinds or minds. I only found out about him after watching a certain movie based on a book he wrote. This guy, paints pictures, not just any types of pictures, but the most haunting pictures. If that wont spark your curiosity, try pictures with "words"! I mean something you read, and as you are reading figures, that you could never dare to imagine start taking form in your mind? You ever finished watching a movie, you want to know who wrote it once you finish watching? I tell you some gifts are just more than gifts, this dude tells stories that will leave you so scared, I credit my ignorance for even considering to look him up in the first place! I wanted to know what type of person has a mind that conjures such stories!? and how they sleep at night with such an imagination!?
I guess at this point as well not much would surprise me because believe me I have seen strange. But also I have come to believe that though humanity has come a long way, we still have a lot we have not understood, about life, the earth, the universe and so fourth... I now appreciate that everything has more than one view. Take science and religion, or history and religion again, these are views that clash a lot and have created big ideology groups surrounding their takes on life. But then this is my point, why rule out the other because of not finding logic in the other? What if its a matter of the "artist" who is able to express the answers to these peculiar questions just not being valued as yet? It cant be all cut and dry, that's all I'm saying...
