Sometimes sake of avoiding big loss or wasting a long time for waiting, it's better selling for zero gain. Had a plan like that but changed my mind. It felt like time wasted for a single dollar of profit. A small amount of BCH was bought emotionally at $262 worth price value. Today It's hit $265 when target sell order was at $270. The waiting period is almost a week not. Does this really worth waiting?  Will you wait for a dollar profit more than a week? That's almost impossible so I wanted to sell it for zero profit or gain.  

That's not a smart decision at all. So changed the limit order and it would cause a single dollar profit which is better than a nothing. In the past I did this type of trading and regret later even when gain was smallest but still a gain, shouldn’t be underestimated. Sometimes our asset is our biggest concern and when value or asset reduce, it demotivate many of us to invest or buy more. Sake of stopping the reduction of asset value selling crypto for zero profit can be a way to go. No wonder if some wants to stay at safe side when crypto price dump shockingly. 

When finance at risk, It's hard to execute new plans that requires time and a decent amount for investment. Right now securing personal finance is the priority and in such case I won’t trade for long time holding. Would take pause or break from crypto trading but holding for years can't be possible at this moment. Next expectation either reset trading by sellout all asset or restart trading using a small amount for small gain. Every time I aim not to do random trading but recently I did it and luckily that doesn’t cause regret. 

Trading for zero profit also can be profitable if buy crypto at it's lowest price next time and that's a personal preference or choice not a financial advice to apply. Sometimes buying crypto at high cause regret when price dump unexpectedly and honestly I experienced it many times in my crypto trading journey of around five years. As reset plan is the aim for next so not aiming to gain big but at least the amount can cover expenses for next 6-7 months. Let's see what market allow me to do. Thinking negative too, if dump from current price then it could be a big loss that can make many broken financially for a time. Let's think positive and stay optimistic.
