A blockchain node engine powered by Ethereum is now available on Google Cloud. This will streamline the complexity of hosting on your own hardware and simplify the process of putting up a new node.
Google Cloud made the decision to establish a Digital Assets Team in January 2022 as a result of the rising popularity of cryptocurrencies and NFTs. Google began assembling a WEB3 team in May 2022 to entice blockchain app developers. James Tromans, a former executive at Citigroup, was also hired by Google for this purpose.
Features of Google Cloud's Blockchain Node Engine:
- Developers can choose the network (mainnet, testnet) and install a new node in a single step.
- The nodes can be shielded from unauthorised access by being deployed behind a virtual private cloud firewall.
- Nodes can be restarted in the event of any issues because they are fully handled by Google Cloud.
