I got sent a video from someone who is not even in the crypto nft space so this must mean something,

the video was a youtube talking about making money just for walking. the app's name is Step'n.

I didn't even watch the video I immediately search their social media presence to see if it is legit or not.

then I downloaded it.

I would love to get into defi gaming but mostly I don't have the time to sit around daily just to grind games also there is the issue there are too many games so when I saw step'n and its pitch I knew ok this is something I could do because I walk a lot and exercise daily. in a week I usually walk over 15km easily so getting paid for something I do on a whim is great.

How to play

this game is not free to start, unfortunately. since these games promise the ability to earn money they would not make it easily accessible to everyone. you need an activation code. Now i thought activation codes were paid for and this gives you access to a shoes right away but no. i check their social accounts. 

A good piece of advice I got from a youtube video when assessing projects is to check their Reddit account for traffic so i did,

the number threw me off a bit because on Reddit they have 1k plus in their community and I thought to little because discord has 50k. seems strange right, huge discrepancy. people were selling activation codes for 2 sol etc but thanks to someone in a comment I realise activation codes were free.

i am skeptical about whether this is not a scam or whatever.

Anyways after setup, etc I was taken to the marketplace page, where the cheapest shoes were going for around 9 sol. if you ask me this is a bit expensive for beginners. if there is anyone who has played the game for a few weeks how long does it take to recoup this initial cost that's what I am trying to look for. Currently, I don't have 9 sol across all my crypto wallets, i could get 9 sol if i liquidate more of my other crypto assets.

I head back to the main page with the steps tracker and other functions and press the green continue button. So I am not going to be making any money with this app unless I get a pair of shoes.

i wanted to test the app out, see if it actually tracks my steps, I don't know how this works but it seems that it only tracks your movements if you have the app open and internet which is a bad design, I don't want to always be stuck on this screen while I am walking so the developers could work on that. Anyways I had to go about around the block from me for an errand so I figured I'd vlog it. link in the resources section.
